Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. Early successes in the field of critical success included parts in movies like Pleasantville and Election but it was her performance as Elle Woods in the box office hit Legally Blonde that marked a turning point for her career. Witherspoon was awarded the Academy Award in 2005 for her part on Walk the Line. Water for Elephants this means war as well as Wild are among her most recent films in which she was nominated for an Oscar. Her professional career started in the early 2000s with small roles on television. She made her feature film debut in the 2003 comedy The Invisible Man. Then, she appeared in television shows like House of Lies Whitney & Better Call Saul. As well as her acting career as a performer, she's appeared in films like The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. In addition to her acting career she is also a talented artist. Williams is an accomplished painter who has displayed her works in various gallery spaces.
