Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a family that was musical. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the church choir in the early years of her childhood.
